Nominee: The snapping turtle

For our class mascot, I nominate the Chelydra serpentina (aka the eastern (or common) snapping turtle). I believe that this reptile should be our mascot because it was one of the species that we caught in one of our field trips. Also, because they are interesting. And can be really cute when they are not trying to bite your finger off.
