Class Mascot - Anolis carolinesis

My nomination for the class mascot is Anolis carolinesis because it was one of the most common herps we found on our field trips together. Everyone had the opportunity to hold and interact with multiple green anoles. We also used them as an example to learn many times throughout the semester. It’s such a cute and common herp, I wouldn’t know what else to nominate for our mascot. One green anole also bit our professor on a field trip, so I’m sure it’s a herp we will never forget.
