Class Mascot Nomination: Coluber constrictor

I believe this cute Black Racer, Coluber constrictor, deserves to be our class mascot. He was the most  compliant and docile of all the snakes we observed! His rather elementary temperament was a great asset in being a learning tool for us all. I don't know about everyone else but I started this class with a rather unjustifiable fear of snakes, and this little guy here really helped me overcome that. He is a great representative of all things squamate-related! He shows us that he may look formidable to the uneducated eye, but in fact he's just trying to live life like all the rest of us!
