Class Mascot: eastern glass lizard

I think that the glass lizard, specifically the eastern glass lizard (Ophisaurus ventralis) should be our class mascot. I think it would be a great representation of the different characteristics we've learned over the semester. Originally, anyone who hasn't taken a herpetology class or been interested in herps would've thought that it was a snake but by the end of the semester, we are able to determine that it isn't based on its external ear opening and eyelids.
