So it took me a while to figure this blog thing out, and I still don't know if it will come out right, but here goes. On my first herp hunting trip I found this guy which is one of my
favorites, the Texas earless lizard Cophosaurus texanus texanus. You can tell he is a male because of the blue on his venter. I found him near a creek bed under a piece of wood buried in the ground in Pipe Creek, TX.
